Posted Thursday October 09, 2008, About: Tiger busy planning party
And the point of this article is to say....what?
Posted Tuesday October 07, 2008, About: Temporary home for Tiger's tourney
Not a story.
Posted Wednesday September 24, 2008, About: Why U.S. team thrived without Tiger
Jonis, I agree partially with you. Only the media thought Tiger's absence was going to be so substantial. Fact is, other than for publicity's sake, he really hadn't mattered in the Cup matches. Where I disagree is your belief that his return or non-return makes no difference at all. He is the world's best and at the top of his game. There might be another guy to adore, but the world will only see one Tiger Woods.

JoeFord...might you read what I posted and interpret it with the meaning I so obviously intended? I offered congratulations; You offer criticism. Seems some of you hate Tiger more than you love the Ryder Cup victory. That's called....childishness.
Posted Tuesday September 23, 2008, About: Clemens heartbroken over Yankee Stadium snub
Not honoring Torres was a low blow:; not honoring Clements can't be criticized.
Posted Tuesday September 23, 2008, About: Why U.S. team thrived without Tiger
I knew there had to be a Tiger story on the Ryder Cup victory sooner or later. My take: Congratulations to America! You did it to no fault or criticism of Tiger. Can't we just leave it that?
Posted Monday September 22, 2008, About: Gasol deal gets even better for Lakers
Writer mentions "Sun" but never explains who Sun is or how he came about. Bad writing.
Posted Wednesday September 17, 2008, About: Tiger: I will not attend Ryder Cup
I've yet to hear how Tiger's poor Match play makes the others play as poorly? He kicks the butt of everyone who is higher in the lost column than he. Perhaps your criticism is misdirected. Either way, he's not here this year, lets see what the "winners" can do without his losing percentage. Hopefully, it inspires them to make a statement by winning the Cup. Hopefully, it even carries over to the PGA season and makes them offer him some competition for a change. That would be welcome by all of us...especially all of you Hate-Tiger-All-The-Time whinners.
Posted Wednesday September 17, 2008, About: Tiger: I will not attend Ryder Cup
Joe F...I doubt if he has the "worst single record" for the U.S. That seems a little far-fetched. And, if he's responsible for dragging down players when he plays poorly, who's responsible for them staying down when he's wins so much and so often?
Posted Monday September 08, 2008, About: Riley regrets Knicks moves
I hated those Knicks teams and thought Riley degraded basketball by coaching that rough, beat-em-up style of play. And to think the NBA allowed it. I always thought it was the only way the game could offset the athletic domination of the Jordan/Pippen Bulls at the time---knock them out of the air. This was NOT basketball. Riley and the NBA disgraced basketball during those years.
Posted Sunday September 07, 2008, About: Ups, downs for Vijay's caddie
Is this supposed to be a "Pity the Caddie" article? I mean carrying a bag for hours and making $500 million seems a good gig if you can get it. Compare that to soldiers who get shot at or bombed for minimum wages or any of the other jobs of great effort, stress, or intellectual exercise that pays little or nothing. Sorry, no sympathy from me for an over-paid caddie of elite.
Posted Sunday September 07, 2008, About: Will Tiger be better after rehab?
I'm a big Tiger fan and I usually find myself defending him on this blog, but guys it's golf. I just don't see why it's so speculative as to why he'll recover from the surgery. It's golf. No 300 lb. lineman is chasing him. No need to cut and weave and dunk a basketball. No fast moving tennis ball to run down and hit back across a net. No quick unplanned stops and starts. It's golf. Analyze the shot, stabilize your body position, execute and move to the next shot. Golf. Tiger should be fine physically from the surgery. It's golf.

MrMiyagiJr wrote: How sad for Phil, no matter what he does he will never be considered the best player on tour.

That's because he's NOT the best player on tour.
Posted Thursday August 28, 2008, About: Weis listens to NFL mentors
They need to do something. Notre Dame football is as sad as can be for a major program.
Posted Tuesday August 26, 2008, About: Shark; Golfers whipped by Tiger
Well, it's more than they just don't: they most times can't.
Posted Tuesday August 26, 2008, About: Shaq accused of stalking singer
Even multi-millionaires can get their heart broken and play the fool. Love knows no man for his wealth or status.
Posted Thursday August 21, 2008, About: Will FedEx fizzle without Tiger?
Without Tiger, golf suffers. Period. Since every tournament during his recovery has faltered in the ratings department, it stands to reason the FedEx will as well.
Posted Wednesday August 20, 2008, About: A-Rod playing the female field
He's divorcing; practically single. He's rich, good looking, obviously loves sex. Why wouldn't he be playing the field?
Posted Tuesday August 19, 2008, About: D-Wade booed at Great Wall
This is a very wordy article just to say Wade (and the other players) used their status to get ahead. And, why is it just Wade the writer is picking on?
Posted Tuesday August 19, 2008, About: Haney: Tiger's rehab going well
My cousin's sister's butcher, who knows Tiger's barber's uncles' best friend, says that Tiger was was pushing a grocery cart last week.
Posted Tuesday August 19, 2008, About: Leadbetter rips Wie's family
"....greatest potential the game has ever known..." Is he serious? I say she just looks good in a golf skirt.
