If you live in a glass house then don't be throwing any moss covered stones.....or something like that.
I would say that depression has a higher rate in women based on the amounts of anti-depressants prescribed. I'd look it up but I feel sooooo tired
Nut up is two words, I guess you could use a hypen, Nut-up, yeah then it would be A word...
Lets review the article. On Tuesday, three weeks before her due date, (like the due date means much; most women will tell you it is a Doctor???s guess--my wife generally had it closer, yes we managed to have babies in spite of our sexless marriage Dr Phil!! LOL) (Early for twins is not uncommon) Roxie McNabb, the quarterback's wife, delivered twins, a healthy baby boy and girl (OH WOW Healthy--what a surprise, proper medical care in a large US metropolitan city!! Not like she was squatting in a damp cellar with a midwife in the middle ages!!). To hear McNabb tell it, the delivery was complicated but ultimately successful. (writers opinion and prose) Everyone is healthy (ding ding ding???.winnah!!)- babies, mom and proud pop. But there were times during the last several weeks and months when McNabb wondered, and worried, (ok perfectly normal but this puss of a writer would like me to get a handkerchief out at this point???..) about his wife, about their 4-year-old daughter, Alexis (Why? Because she will lose her mother--bit dramatic don???t you think? Maybe not), and about those unborn twins. Although he wouldn't go into specifics, McNabb worried about Roxie's health, about the strain carrying two babies put on her body, (was there gestational diabetes, bad amnio, inverted uterus, bad ultrasound?) about whether those tots would be healthy (see above on medical care large US metro area) or born too early. "I tried to not let it affect my play knowing that I didn't play as well as I wanted to in the previous weeks," McNabb said yesterday. "But it's sort of a little weight off (sort of -- as if he is not sure?; little weight-- as in no big deal, again poor writing) your shoulders knowing that everyone is healthy and everyone is fine (read the last 5 words repeatedly...) and kind of can come back out here and have fun."
My wife is very lovely and the apple of my eye, there is no better place than falling asleep next to her each evening. Thanks for the advice, good luck with reading and comprehension in the future.
You're welcome.
1100 meeting to go to ( will crash my lunch plans as well...grrrrrr) you guys please solve the rest of the world's problems in my absence.
SAT and ACT scores are probably generated by someone else taking the exam and then the student ends up in courses "designed" for athletes.....basketweaving, archery, maybe even marksmenship for some......?
Many of our athletes are successful in academics as well, they have annual awards for those kids.
The list of criminal athletes is embarassing, remember the hi-jinx from Oklahoma when Switzer was coach late in his tenure....ridiculous
No I am not saying that at all. Universities should not BS us and tell us that they are taking these players as students when in fact without their physical skills they would NEVER get accepted to school.
If they want to call their collegiate sports team something else then fine but do not call some of these illiterate kids students.
Baseball has a "farm league" for young kids who do not want/can't to go to school, maybe gifted kids who can't get into school could play in a similar football system?
my implication is do not offer scholarships or accept players who are not College worthy (i.e. have a reasonable SAT score or whatever metric the school uses). As I understand it Univ of Washington called in WIllingham (Sp) to clean up their act and recruit kids with character and some moral fiber....Schools need to show some responsibility.
I see the "Day Shift" is in full rant and all systems on the OFFENSIVE--you go boys!
I DO NOT think McNabb is making this an issue, I think the press is trying to tie the two together too strongly. McNabb is alright.
