everyone and their dead grandmother knows the twins have four, quality outfielders signed for next year in cuddyer, young, span and gomez. kubel is solid at dh. so, they have an expendable outfielder, or so conventional wisdom says. of course they'll look into deals for one of the four outfielders. and of course the giants want to get younger and more powerful (not that young is a power hitter, of course).

cnnsi.com should ban "truth and rumors" from quoting charley walters.

wait, cnnsi.com is quoting Charley Waters of the Pioneer Press???? There is no way the Charley has a credible scoop here. This is just column fodder and more-than-likely has no, credible sourcing. To call this a "morning jolt" is absurd. Charley Waters writes drivel to fill column space.

Liriano will be fine. The Twins have been holding him a back a bit - had been told to hold back a bit until just the other day. So, he has had one outing of "letting it fly" after over a year away from pitching.

The guy will be a 20 game winner more than a few times in his career.

Noah is the man - all this talk about "knowing your place" is really messed up. If the players aren't in it to win, every night, then why should we, as fans, care?

The veterans on the Bulls don't like that Noah is calling them out on their complacent attitudes. I'd sooner stack my team with D-leaguers who give a rats behind than a bunch of multi-millionaires who disrecpect themsleves and the fans on a daily basis.
