What would Phil know about winning that a 19 yr old w/ less than 100 NBA games under his belt wouldn't know. Hell just fire Phil and let Bynum be a player/coach like Russell did in the 60's. He's obviously a master of the NBA.

Newflash!!!!!!!

Eddy Curry's motivation left the building after he signed his last contract. Once his rookie contract was done and he got his new deal he was destined for DNPville. Why sweat when you earn the same money to sit courtside w/ DNP coach's decisionbury. Thank God he has Steph to mentor him on how to swallow his shame, cash that check and do nothing.

Wow 5 years, 80 mill for a former Marlin Pitcher w/ a history of injury except in his walk year... I get this overwhelming feeling of Deja' vu

show of hands...Who's shocked by this? Baron Davis can't get along w/ a coach who frowns on him taking 30 shots a game, gee haven't seen this before. This is why the clippers are the clippers and will forever be the clippers.
Posted Wednesday November 12, 2008, About: Al Davis strips coordinator's play-calling duties
I'm sure when he starts screaming, "Why isn't Stabler in there!!!!!!" and keeps looking for Branch and Biletnikoff to go deep he's not really helping the situation. At some point the NFL has to step in and do something as they're not really a NFL team right now and no free agent in their right mind is going to go there so they aren't giong to get any better w/ this lunatic running things.

Posted Tuesday November 11, 2008, About: Weis in trouble at Notre Dame?
for 3 years the team's been 1 year away. I don't know what fans you're talking about but every media "expert" and some fan sites I heard about thru my ND alum family members were saying 8-9 wins were baseline and other than the USC game they would be favored over everyone else. They barely beat San Diego, blew 4Q leads to Pitt and UNC. Got manhandled by an average BC team and Mich. State. How can beating Navy now be the standard for a successful season @ ND. The reason Weis won't get fired is he has 5 years and 25 mill left on that insane extension they gave him, so congrats fightless Irish fans you're stuck w/ Jabba the 1 legged Hutt as your leader for 5 more just a year away seasons.

Posted Tuesday November 11, 2008, About: Quarterback commits to Duke
This is a great get for Duke!!!!!!!! It won't take him long to adjust to going 0-11 in college against better competition. Now this is out of the box thinking on recruiting @ Duke...get all the kids from the 0-11, 1-10, maybe 2-9 high schools so that the Duke FB experience won't be such a shock to their system.

How can Charlie be expected to compete with all those really smart kids in their seemingly annual top 5 recruiting classes every year ,their own TV deal and Army, Navy, Airforce, San Diego, juggernauts on their schedule...What is he a miracle worker!!!!!!

Posted Tuesday November 11, 2008, About: Angels won't make Teixeira an offer
Why any team would make an offer to a Boras client before 15 Jan is just hanging the screw me sign around their neck. Baseball people apparently have never read a book or taken a class in negotiations as they rush to throw out these offers so Boras can go to the press and drop a dime on who offered what and how unacceptable it is. Let's face it as w/ every 20 million dollar player who isn't named Manny it will come down to the following

Yankees
red sox
mets
angels

and in this case the Orioles because he's from Baltimore so they'll live this fantasy he'll give up 50 mill to play in front of him family and friends and I guess move back into his childhood bedroom.

So other than stupidity why would any of the 4 teams everyone knows are the only 4 teams w/ enough $$$$ to pay him act like it's a race against the whole league and they better hurry up before they get outbid. It's like the dopes who bid on ebay crap w/ 4 days left in the auction and then can't believe it when there are 20 bids in the last 2 minutes and they lose the item. He's going to be a Yankee because the Red Sox got no place to put him w/out trading broke down Papi Or brokedown Lowell and the Mets re-upped Delgado so really it's the Angels or the Yankees

Posted Monday November 10, 2008, About: The NFL's worst cornerback is...
Hall should have gone to the colts or Tampa where he doesn't have to play press technique coverage alot. Not quite sure why a guy who thinks he's all world would go be a #4 CB on a team that wait...plays a lot of press coverage...this is as dumb as a team w/ a history of felons playing for them picking up a guy w/ a drinking problem, anger issues and a strip shoot out on his list of career highlights..Oh Wait that's been done already!

Posted Monday November 10, 2008, About: Did Gold Glove ruin Rangers' plans for Young?
Hey Everyone...do you remember back in yesteryear when the employees (players) actually realized they work for management ( Mangers) and were kind of expected to do what they say to collect their pay check...I know that sounds as crazy as no internet or an old white guy as president, but yes there was a day when the players actually just played the game, collected a check and were thankful for the opportunity to earn said huge checks and do what is best for the club. Hey Mike, they're not asking you to take a pay cut and it might help your offense to be able to move to 2nd.
Posted Monday November 10, 2008, About: What's wrong with Roethlisberger?
unless you're going to blame really poor decision making and a desire to replace Brett Favre as the next most overhyped/underperforming QB in the NFL then I don't know what he's going to say. Ben has never been a great QB because he makes too many horrible decisions. He won a superbowl because they only let him throw the ball 12 times a game ala Trent dilfer and last year was his 1 year of everything going right and having a great O line and Parker. Now His line sucks and no running game.

Family reasons=he's tired of his mom and dad asking, " how come you don't ever play?" and " how are you going to get to the NFL and buy us a mercedes if you never play?"
Posted Thursday November 06, 2008, About: Harrington on way out of Golden State
Cleveland should get him because he can score and rebound. I'd like to see the Wizards get him so they could rotate Jamison to the 3 and Butler to the 2. They could package a couple of their young bigs to get him. A starting 5 of Arenas, Caron, Jamison,Harrington and anyone who post on here would be a tough 5 to guard w/ their shooting and rebounding! Plus w/ one of us out there...they're guaranteed to have at least 1 basketball genius on the court!!!!!!!!
