Hey bud,
thanks for asking. I am a Houston born and raised college student. I have seen so many ups and downs with the Oilers that the Texans aren't even a shock to me with their awful personnel moves.
Matt Schaub has been touted as an up and comer for quite some time now. I honestly think Atlanta regrets giving him up now, especially with the trouble Vick is in. I am hesitant to say he deserves a starting spot when he hasn't proven much on the field. But I was one of the Houston people who said they should have let Carr go two years ago and drafted Vince Young. It made perfect sense to me. You bring in a hometown favorite who brings an extra dimension to an offense that desperately needs it. Also he sells tickets and would restore excitement to the Texans franchise. I nearly lost my lunch when I saw them draft Mario Williams. If I am the GM I say you have to draft Bush,Young, or the now Jets offensive lineman Brick Ferguson. No question.
But back on topic, Schaub will be put to the test like Carr for one reason: The Texans have yet to solidify their offensive line. If the Cardinals, who finally made moves to shore up the front line this year, can't be a top offense with Edge, Fitzgerald, Boldin, and Leinart then what makes the Texans think they will be any better?
So I think the jury is out on Schaub. I am skeptical to be honest. It's hard for any player to do well when they are sacked over 50 times a year.
Hope that answers the question.

hey im respoding to the throwdown you had about the predators moving to Hamilton, well i can see that your clearly not a hockey fan, anyone who enjoys watching baseball need to get a life, and if you think Vegas!!! or Kansas!!!! would be a viable NHL franchice than your sadly mistaken, sure, it may look like everythings going fine, lots of attandance, moneys good, but once the shock and awe effect wears off therre gonna be discarded as quick as they were picked up. now canada on the other hand has many WIDLEY open markets, free of the clutter and drama of you MLB steroids, and NFL steroids, and barry bonds, who care about all that stuff, not us canadian , we dont find enjoyment in prying and prodding and knowing every little face about all the stupid celebrities. almost any city in canada would be able to house a legitimate NHL team alot better then some backwoods hick state that has a higher illiteracy rating than all of north america. even if it is Hamilton getting the team, they will house a great NHL team with many devoted fans, just look at the sucess of the crowed northeastern NHL teams, New Jersy, Buffalo , Islanders , Rangers, and not one person had blacklisted them or sujjusted a move, why? cause the rivalry and the relitivly close proximity of the other franchies. Look, Nashville has been there for 8 or so years, and last year they were almost best in the league, and if they still dont have a fan base then its not the team its the location. KC and Vegas arnt too far off from nashville and will house about the same size fanbase. If nashville would have been in canada last year with that record they would have been gods not cast aside like some twp-bit hooker, which is exactly what the NHL will get if they move to vegas. they desever alot more credit then they get, and give the fans some credit for trying to keep them, allthough there going to have a bigger turn out for that then most of the home games in franchies history, just for the fact that the fans just got reminded ," HEY THOSE DAMN CANADIENS ARE TRYING TO BE MORE INDEPENDANT AND TAKE WHATS RIGHTFULLTHERES, GOD THAT MAKES ME ANGY, GO PREDS GO!!! GO AMERICA!!!!" and thats bout all thats going on to save the preds, u might have a point that thier not going to hamilton but i guarentte the NHL is shoting them selves in the foot if they think moving it to another usless american city, and this will ultiamatly lead to a popularity rating of 0 for the NHL in the united states. R.I.P. professional hockey, your killers, americans like gary bettman.

the NBA has a very different fan base then the NHL and it is mostly popular in the sothern states. look at us , canada has one major NBA team, my point is sending an NHL franchies to kansas city would be a waste of time and money canada would support and embrace a team much more than kansas.......

and in another post you left, you said that canada has too many teams alreay and one more wouldent make sence. WE ONLY HAVE 6!!! if anyone has to many teams is america. 24=American 6= Canadien isnt a good mixture at all, why dont u guys just defect and from the NAHL or something stupid that will get the attention of all the toothless hockey haters. i think the only thing that could help the nhl is a total uprooting and relocation of every american team to canada
, you guys can have your NFL and MLB and NBA and drive those into the ground if u must, but dont take are beloved NHL with it, for the love of all things humane,

Ah. Well, even though I'm just repeating myself, the correct factual term would be no National League team.
