I am a life long cowboy fan. the first game i remember was the ICE BOWL. i am a grandma of 3 granddaughters and another on the way. i go to all the games and tailgate and aggravate the enemy. my daughters and i are ready for the season to begin. i have an office of cowboy pictures etc....fav player WARE.. and.... TEAGUE for defending our star.....

hi everyone . i am new to this site. i am a member of other sites though . they know me as cowboystar. i have had this name for about two years . when i joined this site i found out there was another member by this name. so since he was here first i have amended my name for this site only. i come to these sites to read what other people are thinking about the games and the direction the cowboys are headed. i don't look for fights but at the same time i will disagree with some opinions. for example i believe if crayton had of just kept running we would be in the superbowl last…

I couldn't get my fanmail to send so I'm trying your site for the response! Here goes: That's disappointing that you didn't get my last response because I doubt that I could state my response as eloquently as I did the first time around. But I will try! After having read your response I have come to the conclusion that I actually like you! LOL :-) Though not quite enough to relenquish my name, but at least share it with you if you'd like to add a little "something-something" to yours. But then again you may not want to do that because I've amassed a following on this site that sometimes would say some things to me that you might scratch your head on! LOL To answer your question I did not choose the name for any particular reason as you did. The name just came to me in thinking about the Cowboys and what would be appropriate homage to them and me justice.......hence Cowboy (them) star (me-LOL)! Honestly I have been a Cowboy fan since my youth of the late 60's. My entire family (of 5) are rabid Cowboy fans. I have two rooms in my home dedicated to them. I also have a cousin who plays on the team (Chris Canty) who is also my wife's cousin if that makes sense. I also know one of the RB's drafted this year (Tashard Choice) and work with his Mom here in Atlanta. I've known him since his middle school days and prior to working with his mother. Football Sunday's in our home is a ritual where NO one is allowed in the room to watch the game without a Cowboy jersey on! Nor are any non-fans allowed in unless they represent some team in garb! Damn I miss football! I just got excited relating this to you. I hope this version of my email goes through because I'd hate to do this again! The first version was still better though. i've enjoyed our exchange and hope we can continue it on an ongoing basis. Friends? EJ
