I recently skimmed Stewart Mandel's article on the possibility of a playoff versus plus-one in college football in the coming years.  I am a casual observer of college football and a huge fan of the NFl, stuck in SEC country where college football rules supreme.  (You have no idea what this is like if you are not from around here... Radio stations talk about the local college teams 24/7, 365 to the point where I now completely avoid sports radio.  I really need Sirius.)  Anyway, as a casual observer, I have a few comments for the college commissioners making this…
