The year 2008 we are about to see the renewal of BASKETBALLS greatest rivalry! LAKERS vs. The Boston Celtics. I am naturally a LAKERS fan, hence my name. I believe the LAKERS will win because:
1. KOBE
2. Lamar Odom
3. Pau Gasol
4. Luke Walton
5. Derick Fischer
6. Jordan Farmer
7. The entire LAKERS organization
8. Phil Jackson
9. LAKERS very deep bench, no 2nd unit just talented players
10. Celtics trying to buy a championship, much like the LAKERS did w/ Gary Payton and Karl Malone WORK W/IN THE SYSTEM AMEN!!!

LAKERS win 100-92 to make NBA FINALS

LAKERS came back from a 17 point depiceit, played great defense, and make their 1st NBA Finals since 2004.  THE LAKERS are playing to WIN!!!  They beat the defending champions, the team with the best home record (Utah) and now face either Pistons (who beat them in 2004) or the much hated Celtics.  GO LAKERS!!!

Tonight the Boston Celtics beat the Detroit Pistons.  Tomorrow The LAKERS can clinch the Western Conference with a win over the San Antonio Spurs.  That would be really kewl!  The LAKERS have quite a history in NBA Finals with both franchises.  However if Pistons win LAKERS will enjoy the home court advantage.  Still if the Celtics win it will be a renewal of the greatest rivalary in NBA history.  No matter what I believe 2008 will be the year of the LAKERS!!!
