Well, SI announced that Brett Favre will be on the madden cover. The first former player on the cover. A few months ago, I suggested that Madden should just put legends of the game on the cover from now on for two reasons: 1. Kill all the talk about that stupid jinx.2. Show respect to the players of the past that helped build the league to what it is, but didn't play in a time where so many forms of media were available to help identify them with fans. I felt the need for this after reading everyone's knee jerk reaction about how I can be such a **** for saying that Tiger needs to straighten his drive out if he wants to score better and win more.The biggest reaction I got was the people somehow thought I was speaking blasphemy by even saying that he needs to correct something in his game. the second biggest reaction I got was that he wasn't in a slump like I said....even though the word "slump" or any insinuation to it wasn't even touched on by me. I play it on 360, and I really like it. It still feels like the older, classic Grand Theft Autos, but they did such an amazing job with all the little stuff. The storyline is also pretty amazing, I'd be really surprised if this didn't win a ton of Game of the Year awards this winter. Do you play it?
