The Jets each and every week do something positive offensively and defensively and last time I checked, that wins games. The obvious cornerstone game for the Jets was last weeks game against the Bills. They dominated against the run and played good enough against the pass to hold the explosive Lee Evans to four catches for 40 yards. They also limited the Bills to 50 yards total rushing due to Kris Jenkins being a beast in the middle like he has been throughout the season. Week 3 AFC East

So it's week 3 in the football season and there has been much to cheer about. The AFC East looks like it is going to turn into an all out battle for supremacy. The Bills are 2-0 along with the Patriots and the Jets are sitting at 1-1(It's not even worth it to mention the Dolphins). The Bills look the strongest as of right now with Marshawn Lynch beast modeing all day. I happen to have him on my fantasy team and I know he's going to turn it on another level real soon. A New Era Begins...

With the acquistion of Brett Favre to the already much improved roster of the Jets, the sky is the limit for the Jets in 2008. Favre brings with him leadership, patience, talent and experience in the quarterback spot which the Jets have not had in many years. You can call him old all you want but when he starts to light it up like the legend that he is, he will make you eat those words. I love it when I hear all the skepticism of the Jets because all that will do is fuel the fire and they will silently beat teams and reach the playoffs as a scary team to match up…
